A Book Review by Alexandra McCartney By Neil Gaiman

 Fiction  Coraline Jones, Mother, Father, Other Mother, Other Father, Wybie Lovat, The Three Souls Mr.Bobo, and The Cat  Coraline must find her parents, save the three lost souls, and get back to the real world before it’s to late.  With her friend Wybie, and The Cat she might be able to save everyone, including herself.

 Coraline Jones and her parents move into an old Queen Anne style house. On a rainy day she finds a small locked door. After opening it, she discovers a brick wall behind it. Later that night she goes back to the door and in its place is a long passageway, which leads to a room identical to the one she just left.

 She heard someone whistling in the kitchen, so she walked towards the kitchen expecting to see her mother. Which she did see sort of. It was her mother but with buttons for eyes! It turns out she was in the other world and that was her other mother! She had a lot of fun in the other world until her mother suggested she sew buttons in her eyes so she could stay their forever. But Coraline soon finds out that her “Other Mother” isn’t who she thought she was and now its up to her to find her real parents, The Lost Souls, and save herself before it’s to late

 I would recommend this book to anyone who loves adventures and surprises.  This book is very entertaining you will never want to put it down.  With every turn of a page there is always a surprise!
