What is the Handbook? The Western Edge Cluster 2009 VET Operational Handbook consists of two parts; the manual and appendices The manual includes policies and procedures The appendices includes working documents Aims to provide a framework for its members and consistency through use of common forms Reviewed each year by Principals, Facilitator and Coordinators

Memorandum of Understanding The 2009 manual (pages 1-19) acts as the Memorandum of Understanding for Western Edge Cluster members Page 19 lists the signatories – this is signed at the first VET Principals meeting in March 2008 WEC Signatories

Access The WEC 2009 handbook (manual & appendices) is available; Hard-copy: receive copy today and Online via Western LCP website – Revised documents will be sent by – print and replace existing document in folder (last date revised/version no. will be noted)

Feedback Through-out the year, VET coordinators discuss the practicalities of the manual/appendices and decide whether to amend or make new documents Model or example sourced from other clusters/DEECD and drafted according to Coordinators’ requirements; this is then approved by Principal Rep. or Principal group Any outstanding errors are to be noted immediately to VET facilitator – by Friday, 27
