These supportive resources can be emotional (e.g., nurturance), tangible (e.g., financial assistance), informational (e.g., advice), or companionship (e.g., sense of belonging)and intangible (e.g. personal advice)

IN-SCHOOL MENTORING a program that takes place at the child’s school, during the school year the In-School mentor spends one hour per week during the school day doing fun activities of mutual interest with the youth in need of a mentor

BIG BUNCH PROGRAM provides adult role models and positive peer interaction in a group setting for children who are waiting for a suitable match also for children with different needs than those in the one-to-one program Big Bunch Leaders commit to taking 2-3 children on outings approximately once per month

GO GIRLS! HEALTHY BODIES, HEALTHY MINDS a mentoring program designed to encourage participation in physical activity, healthy eating choices, and the development of a positive self-image, among girls aged 11 to 14 seven sessions led by women mentors aged incorporates fun educational games and activities to stimulate relationship-building between the mentors and girls, and self-reflection and group discussions about healthy living and emotional, social and cultural issues

GAME ON! EAT SMART. PLAY SMART.  Ontario Early Years Centre is a place for children up to the age of six and their parents and caregivers to take part in programs and activities together.  The Niagara Falls Ontario Early Years Centre also brings together in one location information about children's services and programs in the community.

 Child care  Schools  Health care  Libraries.  A free family support program for parents and child care providers of children aged up to 6yrs.  Program designed to promote adult/child interaction for the promotion of healthy child development and effective parenting skills.

Information is also provided for parents to track the status of their children. Co-curricular activities are in involved for children’s social growth.

Health care:  provides public health information  It helps to find a Family Doctor and Nurse practionar.  It helps to sign up for a program like Ontario health insurance plan.  It helps to find out what family health team, Nurse practionar, Diabetes education programs and other services can do for the client and family  Provides information about the nearest emergency services in the local area.  Availability of diagnostic services helps in managing diabetes mellitus.

 Libraries:  Provides access to various books, literature and educative material for all age groups in the community

EDUCATION : Education in its general sense is a form of learning in which the knowledge, skills and habits of a group of people are transfer from one generation to next through teaching, training or research. Education is any act or experience that has formality effect on mind or character.

This organisation provides following services:  SERVING : They serve students and families in all 12 municipalities. The DSBN also warmly welcomes students from across the globe.
