Part Time Work Research Chris & Jack

Definition- A job where you don’t work 40hrs in a week. And you don’t get any sort of benefits.

10 facts about a part time job You work 36 hours or less You get absolutely no benefits No overtime No paid vacation Don’t make as much money as a full time person would. Different tax form More tax money You get less taxes taken out the less money you make

5 negative things about a part time job You don’t make as much money as a person with a full time job. You rarely get benefits depending on the company. You get laid off faster if the companies slow and don’t need many people. You will be more likely to not get as many sick days. You will never get vacation time either.

5 positive things about a part time job You have a lot of time to get your personal stuff done. You will be able to babysit your kid. If you have one. you are more likely to get a better job faster if you’re a part time employee. Its easier for people who are in school and they still make a little money You can run any errands you need to because you have time

2 positive and negative examples Positive- part time employees work less. Get away with more things then a full time employee. Negative- Don’t make as much money as a full time employee

Opinion on part time jobs I feel that jobs are moving more to part time jobs because its cheaper and they save more money. Part time jobs are easier to find and its causing people to work two jobs and have no free time.
