The city of Lexington hold a lot significance in American History. It was where the first shot of the American Revolution was shot known as ‘The Shot Heard Around the World’, which was shot during the Battle of Lexington in April 19,

The first battle of the Revolutionary war was fought in Lexington.

The motto of Lexington is ‘What a Glorious Morning for America!’

Lexington is known for its many historical sights and memorials.
