Warm-Up: Monday 8/17/15 1) Name something is alive and something that is NON-living. 2) Give at least two differences between the two examples you gave.

Finish Lab Unsafety Guide * Identify 10 rules being broken. A) Who is breaking the rule B) How the rule is being broken C) Which rule is being broken (write it out in your words) If you finish early: Study the 39 rules for your quiz in a few short minutes… Study individually or quiz a buddy (if that person is also finished) Ask Ms. Silva to show you the location of the safety equipment.

Laboratory Safety Quiz Clear your desk of everything except a writing utensil. All bags and backpacks should be closed. All papers, notebooks, books should be hidden from view. Face your desk. Turn your body to face your desk. Raise your hand to return your quiz. Wait quietly until everyone is done. Absolutely NO talking, eye contact, looking around the room, or communication of any kind. Raise your hand if you have a question. You may only talk to your teacher.

Laboratory Safety Quiz Scoring Still under test-taking rules. Put everything away except the red pen and peer’s quiz. If incorrect: Put a slash / on the letter that is incorrect Count up the red slashes and subtract from 20. Write total CORRECT over 20 on the top of the page. Example: If 3 incorrect: 17/20.
