Psalm 103 Worship: A Call to Justice

Mark Laberton Vigorously honest worship, whether personal or corporate, is meant to be the primary love feast in our lives. It’s meant to be the context where we experience being known and loved as we are. It’s meant to be the setting where we affirm our home in God’s heart, seeing, tasting, hearing and sharing the love of Christ with one another. (The Dangerous Act of Worship, 181)

In light of Psalm 103, what is Worship? Feasting on God’s Person Feasting on God’s Person

Psalm 103: 2-5 Bless the L ORD, O my soul and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Feast on God’s person in

Feasting… Is at least personal Is at least personal

A Call to the World Feasting draws us in to send us out Feasting draws us in to send us out How do you know if you are worshipping well, you find your obeying more fully. -- Constance Cherry
