Oil, a Failing resource Presentation Of Argumentative essay By Jaret Lewis

Argument Wheather or not to continue using crude oil. Oil is a natural resource that people make use of in their everyday lives. Oil is a beneficial recourse that many people benefit from. Despite this there are many negative effects caused by the use of crude oil

Where people stand People are for oil and against it because of its positive uses and also it’s negative effects. I am against the use of crude oil because of its multiple negatives. Which are pollution and sustainability as a resource these two negative factors are the main causes I am against the use of crude oil

Pollution/Sustainability The burning and use of oil releases harmful gases and pollutants Oil harms many species of animals and can even kill them Oil also degredates the environment It is one of the hardest pollutants to clean up and effects ecosystems and environments for extended periods Oil is not a sustainable due to how long it takes to be produced And cannot be sustained due to humanity’s consumption rate and growth

Compromise/solutions Use a dual energy system Use hydrogen fuel cells Solar power wind power Geothermal systems Natural gases
