How much do you know about health living?

Q. How many spoonfuls of sugar is there in a can of coke? a)5 b)3 c)10

There is the equivalent of 10 teaspoons of sugar in a can of coke. Too much sugar in your diet can impact on your weight, energy levels and your teeth.

What % of adult smokers began smoking as teenagers? a)57% b)75% c)100%

The answer is 75%. Smoking can affect your looks, fertility, health and is extremely expensive. The average British smoker spends £92,000 on cigarettes in a lifetime, this is the equivalent to the price of a house.

How many pieces of fruit and veg do the Government recommend you eat per day? a) 5 b) 7 c) 10

The answer is 5. The Government recommends that you eat a minimum of 5 different portions of fruit and veg per day. Fruit juices, smoothies and dried fruit all count towards this. By doing this you will help your body to get enough vitamins, fibre and minerals a day. ….. Chips and ketchup DO NOT count….

What percentage of 19 year olds exercise regularly (30 minutes for 3 times a week)? a)60% b)30% c)45%

The answer is 30%. Not only will regular exercise keep you fit and healthy. It will have a positive effect on your mood, reduce stress and help you sleep better.
