Once in a year, when the cold wind blows,
There’s a man of straw and he’s scaring the crows.
Up on a pole near the pumpkin patch.
Only thing he fears is a lighted match.
Ghosts and goblins rule the night,
Witches all around try to give us a fright.
Only time it happens is Halloween night,
That’s when the scarecrow comes to life,
Scarecrow.
What kind of sound does a scarecrow make?
When the moon is full, does he shimmy and shake?
What kind of noise does a scarecrow do?
Does he moan and groan? Does he just say “boo?”
Ghosts and goblins rule the night,
Witches all around try to give us a fright.
Only time it happens is Halloween night,
That’s when the scarecrow comes to life,
Scarecrow.
Scarecrow!
