Ice Storms Ice storms happen usually in mostly America, Oklahoma it is basically rain that falls through freezing air. It forms a layer of clear ice when the ice lands also if any electrical poles get snapped by an ice storm then engineers have to come and repair them. Did you know? Throughout the us occur in December and January.

Volcanoes A volcano is a rupture in the earths crust which makes an eruption of pouring magma onto cities, villages. There are more than 500 volcanoes active in the Atlantic ocean and it is called the ring of fire and there has been major eruptions in the area. A super volcano can cause a substance known as hell fire which is hotter than typical fire and if near a jungle can cause forest fires. Did you know? That there is a 50 mile radius when a volcano erupts.

Tornadoes A tornadoes wind speed can reach 300mph. It can make a path 50 miles long and the 1mile wide. A funnel cloud can be the start of a tornado... You need warm moist air and dry air to start a tornado. In side a tornado wind speeds can reach 250mph In a 16 hour period in April twisters hit the USA killing 315 people and 5,484 were injured. Did you know? That tornadoes are most likely between 9pm and 3pm.

In conclusion natural disasters are terrible in many ways and are very life threatening and also life changing. Every year around 250,000 people die and affected by natural disasters around the world.
