Jo-Ann is buying balloons for her school float. She can buy one balloon for 20¢. How many balloons can she buy if she has five dollars. 0 X 0 Y 5 The amount of balloons she can get depends on the cost of the balloons. It is a function because it passes the vertical line test.

Domain~ Is the X-value. Range~ Is the Y value. My problem is a discrete domain since you can not have half of a balloon.

0 X 0 Y 5 Or 0 f(x) 5

This graph shows she can get between 0-25 balloons for her school float.
