 Helping verbs combines with a main verb to help it express tense, mood, and voice  Helping verbs help main verbs express precise shades of meaning. EXAMPLES:  I have bought a new car.  I am going for a walk  The muffins are cooling by the window.

EXAMPLES  He has a car.  She has gone out. Some Verbs Can Serve Both as Main Verbs and Helping Verbs. Main verb Helping verb
