Example of a Psalmic Liturgy: Psalm O come, let us shout for joy to YHWH, Rejoice in the rock of our salvation! 2. Let us come before his countenance with thanksgiving, With songs rejoice in him.

3. For YHWH is a great God, A king about all gods! 4. In his hand are the deep places of the earth, The peaks of the hills are his. 5. His is the sea, he has made it, And the dry land, his hand has formed it.

6. O enter in, let us pay homage and bow down, Fall down before YHWH, who created us! 7. For he is our God, And we are his people – The sheep of his pasturing. Recognize his activity today! O that you would listen to his voice!

8. “Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah, As on the day of Massah in the desert, 9. Where your fathers tempted me, Tried me, even though they had seen my works! 10. Forty years I loathed this generation. I said: A people of confused mind they are, They have not learned to know my ways. 11. So I swore in my wrath: They shall not come to my rest!”
