Warm Up: Sept 10, 2014 Mark the underlined words adj or adv to demonstrate they are adjectives or adverbs. If we go back a century to one hundred years ago, the philosophy of the great French Chefs, like Carême and Escoffier as prominent throughout the culinary world. Complex sauces, elaborate presentations, and lots of calories was the norm for gourmet cuisine. Into the twentieth century, cooks moved more toward cuisine that was clean, diverse, and experimental in response to cultural processes.

Adjectives & Adverbs
