Birds Eye View This picture is a good example of a birds eye view. A birds eye view is a picture that is taken from above the subject. Thus giving it the effect that it was taken from a birds eye. This gave it the name; birds eye view. Worms eye view A worms eye view is similar to a birds eye view despite one large different. While a birds eye view is from above, the worms eye view is from below.

Zooming In & Out Zooming in and out is a pretty simple idea. Its pretty much self explanatory. If you see a great picture, but you need to get closer, zoom in. If you want to look as if your farther away, zoom out. That’s it.

Contrast Contrast is how well one color looks on top of another. For example, yellow on white, or navy on black don’t have very good contrast. But red on gray, or black on white is good contrast.

Rule of thirds The rule of thirds method is very simple. Its basically a 3 by 3 grid on the picture. The purpose of this is to divide the picture so it can easily be transferred or drawn based on section.
