WHAT IS HAPPENING? Egypt has just attacked ISIS camps in Libya with brutal air strikes. Soon enough, the U.S might be dragged into this war and things could get very brutal and tragic. If you really want to learn more about this event, don’t even think about changing the channel.

WHO IS DOING THIS? The Egyptian armed forces and government are involved in this event.

WHERE IS THIS HAPPENING? This event is currently happening in Egypt and Libya.

WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN? This tragic event occurred last week. Not a very promising start to 2015!

WHY DID THEY DO THIS? Because ISIS recently beheaded 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians and Egypt was eager to get revenge.

A FEW MAIN IDEAS OF THIS TOPIC ARE… 1. Egypt attacked ISIS camps in Libya in response to ISIS beheading 21 Egyptians. 2. Egypt can’t afford to get bogged down in war with ISIS. Egypt is dealing with other challenges like fixing their economy. 3. America could potentially be dragged into this fight, which would not be good for America.

OUR THOUGHTS/OPINIONS FOR THIS EVENT We think that Egypt has a right to attack ISIS because they brutally killed innocent Egyptians.

WHY WE THINK WE HAVE THIS OPINION/WHAT INFLUENCED US We have this opinion because Egypt was retaliating to try and prevent ISIS from killing any more Egyptians. Someone needs to stop ISIS!

WHAT MIGHT BE ANOTHER POINT OF VIEW ON THIS SAME EVENT Someone who might be sympathetic to ISIS’ cause, whatever that is. Or someone who thinks that just because ISIS killed some people, it doesn’t make it right for Egypt to kill people also.

WHAT MIGHT INFLUENCE SOMEONE TO THINK DIFFERENTLY THAN US ABOUT THIS EVENT Someone might be influenced by how Egypt acted sort of quickly and that it was a bad idea.
