Kethak Indian dance form Made by Bhuvi Sehag

What is Kethak ??????  Kethak is one of the eight Indian classical dance forms. The word kethak comes from the word katha wich means the art of storytelling. Kethak is the most well known dance drama in the south Indian state of Kerala. It’s known for it’s large, elaborate makeup and costumes.

History  Originating from Northern India, Kathak has gained immense popularity for its sparkling footwork, fast whirling movements and subtle abhinaya or mimetic dance. It almost never fails to capture the audience and this ability is probably because of its long history in the courts of emperors and kings.

Art  Kathak comes under art because it is a dance form.

Technology  People belief through the dance we can tell story's. there are many different types off instrument used in this dance but,the most common one is tabla a two pieced drum set. It can also include some stringed instrument such as sitar.
