How to be an Advocate

 Prostitution is the act or practice of providing sexual services to another person in return for payment.

Street Escorts John Massage Baristas Trick Brothels Trafficking Pimp

 Seattle is one of the top 10 human trafficking hotspots in the United States. As a port city that is near an international border, it's not surprising that many prostitutes are brought into the United States here, many against their will, for prostitution.

 Washington legislature enhanced its laws by passing statutes that created a new criminal category for the commercial sexual abuse of a minor. Additionally, the government has installed signs at rest stops that advise human trafficking victims about ways to get help.

 Know what diseases are out there  Give condoms and where to get condoms  Be safe  Know what sex offenders have recently been released  Have community advocates that know what is going n in the community  YOU NEED TO Know if your child or client is being groomed fro prostitution.

 Access to classes on sexually transmitted diseases  Newsletters to inform them when dangerous criminals are being released  To pay taxes putting into the GDP  Educated backgrounds  To keep off the streets keeping communities clean  Rights to vote to Legalize… …Yes or NO More resources…

 Life on the streets is blunt, harsh and dangerous  Homeless youth are at risk of victimization by drug dealers, physical and/or sexual assault, involvement in prostitution and gangs, and crimes of desperation due to the lack of food, shelter and other daily necessities.

 Established in 1991, Cocoon House has been Snohomish County's only resource exclusively serving homeless and at-risk youth ages We believe that every child deserves a home and the opportunity to achieve his or her fullest potential. Cocoon House provides youth housing and other critical community -based services to caregivers, families and the community.

Cocoon House is a private, non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of individuals, community organizations, foundations and corporations to carry out their work. In Seattle there is also a fund that helps prostitutes if you are interested In making a donation.

 A Seattle investment adviser pledged $100,000 of his own money to help launch the state's first program aimed at rescuing teenage prostitutes from the control of violent pimps and the dangers of sex work, but was not as successful as he planned, due to budget cuts.  Tax-deductible donations can still be made to the City of Seattle Prostituted Children Rescue Fund. Donations should be mailed to the City of Seattle Prostituted Children Rescue Fund, c/o Human Services Department, P.O. Box 34215, Seattle, WA
