To reap maximum rewards from their creations it’s essential that businesses back up their innovations with the necessary IP protection. This IP advice seminar provides a one-stop shop for local people and businesses in …. by providing practical advice and business support.

Benefits The Seminar will offer advice on protecting as well as exploiting inventions and will be relevant to inventors, sole traders or small businesses. The seminar brings together a team of IP experts and professionals from a number of organizations to provide free expert help and advice. The contents of the seminar have been developed together with the Turkish patent Institute and with the assistance of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Contents The Seminar will focus on providing the participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to assist the client/inventor in obtaining a patent, from the initial step of meeting with an inventor through the post patent issuance procedures. It will be assumed that the participants have taken the basic on-line WIPO training on patents and on patents drafting (DL- 301E and DL-320E). It will cover the following topics:
