Overview Project Description Schematic Hardware Involved System Features Results

Project Description Description The overall design involves using a generator to determine the amount of illumination given from a lamp. The user shall request for a desired luminosity and the generator shall attempt to produce the correct amount of current for the lamp. The level of light is read in and the output of the generator is changed in order to compensate.

Project Description Cont. Requirements System shall incorporate dynamic levels of luminosity. Upon system start-up the light sensor shall sample the lowest level of illumination. Generator set to full and light sensor shall sample the highest level of illumination. User shall be acknowledged when initial setup is complete. User shall request level of illumination. User presses button to determine amount of illumination. Motor initiated to run at assumed power level. Power for light shall come from a generator Motor spins a magnet inside coils of copper wiring. Copper wiring hooked directly to light. Open Loop Light sensor must read light levels and change output of the generator. Implementation of noise reduction methods and algorithms.
