PYP Literacy Week

Reading in an ODD place Reading was never so much FUN

Reading in an ODD place GUIDELINES “Reading in an odd place” Contest! Students will enjoy having their picture taken while reading in an odd/unusual place or pose. In the photos, students should be visibly reading a book – and we should clearly be able to see the book cover (see examples below). Who: Students from Gr.4 (Only one entry per student) When: From NOW until Thursday, February 5, 2015 Contest Rules: Participating students must turn in a 5R (5”x7”) photo print on photo paper of their contest entry. Use photo print only (Matte paper – doff) The entries will be voted by a panel of judges. Please note that “camera-phone” photos will not be a high enough resolution to print in an enlarged size. Your book should “match” the unusual reading spot. The cover of your book and your face should be visible in the photo. Do it in a safe place. Please do not Photoshop- edit the photo in order to superimpose parts of the image. You may enhance the brightness of it.
