Hernan was shopping for a TV to fit in his stand. The stand has a width of 20 inches. The TV is 15 inches tall and the diagonal distance is 33 inches wide. Will it fit on his stand? The TV is 29.4 inches wide. No it will not fit on the stand.

Stella wants to find the height of the coffee table. If the diagonal distance from the ground to the table top is 31 inches and the base is 17 inches, what is the height? Stella’s coffee table is 35.4 inches tall.

In my room there are bunk beds and my dog wants to sleep on the top bunk, its 6 feet tall to the top bunk and my dog is 2 feet from the bed. What is the distance he has to jump? My dog will have to jump 5.6 feet to get to the top bunk.

Devon wants to know how long of strings he needs to fit over the white session of his guitar. We know the width is 3 inches and the diagonal distance is 7 inches. Find the height. The white session on the guitar is 6.3 inches tall.
