Exposition Sequence COUNTRY EXPERIENCE: Government Level DECOM Level Future Vision and action

Government Level Different seminars, workshops and public discussion were organized by government before approved in 24/07/2007 the Policy Competition. The country participates in national and international meetings to collect different experiences, witch establishes the institutional need to regulate the competition in the country.

Government Level Now, the government work in the Competition Law. Today and tomorrow ( 14/15 February ) the government organize the auscultation meeting, where different sector will seat together to discuss about the future Completion Law to the country. March / April – 2008 is the dateline to approve the Law.

DECOM Level Our view: Consumer right We are working with the Ministry of Justice to approve the Consumers Protection Law. We start in 2002 working with the National Parliament, but without really results, until the government assumes the initiative to approve the law. Competition view We are working with Ministry of Industry and Commerce to promote competition in our country. Competition benefit the consumers.

Future Vision and action Continue the capacity building support (workshops, seminars and trainings). Disseminate the Competition Law in different levels (stakeholders and media). Organize the national training on Competition and Consumers Laws.
