How to fill up this ‘Lesson Design’ (Lesson Plan) template Assume you are teaching in a classroom where students do not have individual laptops Follow the 3 steps given below to fill up this template – Step 1 – Specify your chosen topic & learning objective(s) with the selected visualization (i.e. animation/simulation) [Slide 3] Step 2 – Specify your instructional environment along the given dimensions [Slide 4] Step 3 - Fill up the lesson design table [Slide 5….] Note: o Slides with a white background and black text (like this one) contain information or instructions. o Slides with a yellow background contain activities that you need to perform. 2

How to fill up the ‘Lesson Plan’ table Please fill up the Lesson Plan table with chosen visualization [Slide 8 onwards] as you would teach in your class. Look at the examples provided in Slides 6 & 7. Write your lesson plan as per the column headings in the table. Add slides as required Once done, please upload the file in Moodle with filename: Viz_Lesson Plan_Name of template used_YourName For e.g. Viz_Lesson Plan_CU_EE_Jayakrishnan 5
