 To be considered a sexual disorder, the lack of desire must be viewed as a problem that is persistent and recurrent. © 2014 S. Dziegielewski

Factors include: The relationship with the sexual partner, prior sexual abuse and past negative sexual experiences, poor sexual body image (small breast size for women and small penis size for men), internalized negative emotions about sexuality, life stress, fatigue, mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, and medication or medical conditions. © 2013 S.
