How math and science is involved Aerospace engineering is rocket science. It involves physics and calculus. What kind of physics used is tested aerodynamics of objects and how to sustain flight. The reason calculus is used is because if you want a rocket to go x feet you need to know what angle to put it at what amount of thrust applied to it, the weight of the object and other varibles.

Why choose this? Contrary to what you may believe, we didn't pick this because it seems it would be easy to tie to math. My career choice would be an aerospace engineer, and it seemed fitting to pick a career one of us was interested in.

What we learned I learned that you need to take a few calculus classes to become an aerospace engineer That Daytona beach has a good aerospace program.

Would like to learn more Jobs Salary Undergraduate programs

Additional skills You need physics and calculus skills which we have not attained yet. This year has helped us get closer to being able to grasp this job but still a far away concept.
