Early Life born Theodore Roosevelt was his 5th cousin taught by private tutors graduated from Harvard; law school at Columbia University while in Harvard, he met Eleanor Roosevelt U.S. Senator of New York in 1921, he became ill with polio, a disease that attacks and cripples the body; his legs were paralyzed

Chief Legislator A Roosevelt got congress to do many things, and they supported him more than other presidents America remained isolated o Good Neighbor Policy

Chief Diplomat A Good Neighbor Policy o good relation with Latin America o positive influence Yalta Conference o consisted of FDR, Stalin, and Churchill o created an agenda for when the war in Germany was over Atlantic Charter o an agreement between FDR and Churchill o a blueprint/agenda for post-World War II o later became the foundation for most treaties/agreements that shape the world today
