Emotional Intelligence 2.0 The neuroscience of EI Spinal cord (entry) to limbic system (I feel) to prefrontal lobe (I think). The physical pathway for emotional intelligence. The connection between the rational and emotional centers of the brain.

Emotional Intelligence 2.0 Who are the most successful employees? Those with a high IQ? Those with high EI? Or is it a combination?

Emotional Intelligence 2.0 Approximately 1/3 (36%) of people can accurately identify their emotions as they happen. Or more to the point 2/3 of people can’t identify emotions as they happen. To be part of the 1/3 is to be a better person, employee, and ultimately a better leader.
