Port Waikato Camp

Camp Rules: 1: No food in the dormitories. 2:When all lights goes out all talking stops 3:No-one is allowed out of bed until 7am except for using the toilet. 4:Come to your meals dressed neatly. 5: You have to have shower every night.( Max 3 minutes) 6:Wash your hands before every meal. 7: No food fights in the dinning room. 8:Everybody has to be removed from duty by a teacher or parent. 9:You aren't allowed to use the washing machines unless there is a problem.

Things you do at port waikato camp. You go to the rocky shores Abseiling Out door camping Archery Walking up bald spur Skit night Bumatrail Go to a waterfall to swim at Swimming Cook your tea on a fire at the over night and breakfast

Walking up bald spur. When we get to camp we put our bags in the dorms and make our beds then have a snack then go to climb Bald spur. It is hard work to go up with all thorns in the way. It is very steep going up and down. When we get up there it is a good view and when you go down it is very steep.

Over night camp When you get to over night camp you get to know what's the rules and the boundary's are. Then you put up your tents and make your beds up for the night. Then you find some wood and get the fire started and you have to make a bass for your fire. When it is dark enough then you start your fire then blow air into it to try to making it a strong fire then put your food on a pan then you can make you tea or breakfast. The next day. You get into your togs and the you go to the waterfall to have a swim.

Rocky Shore To walk to rocky shore it takes 45 minutes to get there then you have to go over a lot of rocks to find a rock pool. It is good fun to look at new sea creature that you have not seen before. I had fun and I hope you have fun too.

Abseiling Abseiling can be hard work if your scared of heights and it has big drops in Papa bear. It is fun and a good thing to try to do. Mama bear is harder than Papa bear. I think it is a good thing to try. To have a go you have to wear a harness and a helmet because rocks and stones can hit your head. It is very steep at some bits of the abseiling.

Skit night The skit night is funny and good to do. If you like to sing you can sing and if you can do a dance you can do it too. I liked it but I hate to talk in front of people.
