Once upon a time there was a boy named Brody.

It’s Brody's birthday today. For Brody’s birthday he got a new fishing rod and new hooks. His mother also told Brody that he could call a friend and ask if they wanted to go fishing.

So Brody walked over to the phone and called Andrew and asked “ Do you want to go fishing with me?” Andrew said, “Yes.”

When Andrew got to Brody’s house Brody’s mother said, “Be back in a half hour.” So Brody and Andrew started the 1 minute walk to Clyde River.

When they got there, they fished for five minutes and Brody caught the first fish, it was a trout.

Then Andrew caught a trout too.

When they got back to Brody’s house Brody’s dad cleaned both of the fish.

At supper time Brody’s mother baked Brody’s and Andrew’s trout and they ate them for supper.

When it was time for Andrew to go home, Andrew said “Thank you, I will see you tomorrow at school.”
