General & Personal Letters Lesson 22 Advice To A Minister 2 Timothy 1-2

I know not why God's wondrous grace I know not why God's wondrous grace To me he hath made known, To me he hath made known, Nor why, unworthy, Christ in love Redeemed me for his own. But I know whom I have believed, And am persuaded that he is able To keep that which I've committed Unto him against that day. Nor why, unworthy, Christ in love Redeemed me for his own. But I know whom I have believed, And am persuaded that he is able To keep that which I've committed Unto him against that day.

I know not when my Lord may come, At night or noonday fair, Nor if I walk the vale with him, Or meet him in the air. But I know whom I have believed, And am persuaded that he is able To keep that which I've committed Unto him against that day. I know not when my Lord may come, At night or noonday fair, Nor if I walk the vale with him, Or meet him in the air. But I know whom I have believed, And am persuaded that he is able To keep that which I've committed Unto him against that day.

Rose Hawthorne Lathrop

2 Timothy 1:7: For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

Be bold, be strong, For the Lord, your God is with you. Be bold, be strong, For the Lord, your God is with you. I am not afraid, I am not dismay’d, Because I’m walking in faith and victory, Come on and walk in faith and victory, For the Lord, your God is with you.

Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.”

Luke 4:18: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”
