Preparations for Irradiation of ABCN250 hybrids at Birmingham 10 th August 2015, Petal/Stave Meeting B'ham workshop has cut one empty V4 panels (from L'pool) into one- hybrid slices using a 'waterjet cutter' machine Simon checking how to clean the panels in preparation for wire-bonding 15m Cat5e network cable (PC-to-Atlys communication) tested in electronics lab with ITSDAQ, works ok Power cable testing: Using high-power resistors with heatsink and fan, run at 2.5V and 3.4A. ABC130 Single-Chip Board: Test system setup 10 th August 2015, Petal/Stave Meeting ABC130Driver board received from Peter – many thanks ! Simon has wiring-up 16pin Molex connector according to instructions on Twiki: (NB protective diode is fitted, Xilinx f/w already loaded). Then power-up ABC130Driver, adjust ITSDAQ config, get communication with Atlys going. We also have a single-chip ABC130 board with mini-sensor fitted, but for now won't connect it up, first gather some experience with ABC130Driver DAQload: Planning RAL visit for pick-up, to learn how to run them, wiring details etc Strip Module Meeting; 26th October
