The New England Patriots is a Professional Football team based in the greater Boston area playing there home games in the town of Fox borough, Massachusetts at Gillette Stadium. The team is part of the East Division of the AFC in the NFL. The team changed it’s name from the original Boston Patriots after being relocated to Fox Borough in Although Fox Borough suburb of Boston is only a little way far apart (22 MI). An original member of the American Football League. The New England Patriots joined the NFL in The Patriots went to the playoffs 4 times before going to Super Bowl 10 in 1986 but losing to the Chicago bears. And also losing Super bowl 31 to the Green Bay Packers. This was the first Patriot team logo 

Now a days the patriots are a good team with a lot of good players. They made it to the playoffs in 2013 but lost to the Ravens for the AFC championship the score at halftime was 13-7 the patriots were leading and at the end of the game the score was Ravens. And that was the end of the patriots season. In 2014 the Patriots were doing great until a bunch of players got hurt.
