BROWN COAL (LİNYİT) Brown coal is a kind of high qualified coal.Coal mine is a very important resource of income for Tavşanlı people.As there is a coal mine company in Tavşanlı most of our people work there and they make contribution both their own economy and our district’s economy.

Historical Houses in TAVŞANLI Tavşanlı is one of the first settlements of OTTOMAN EMPIRE. As the town is an old settlement there are lots of old houses in Tavşanlı.

All these houses have both cultural and historical values.

Some of them have been restorated and in use now,but some of them are protected area and not in use.
