The Hill country Region.Due to its many attractions and scenic beauty, the Texas Hill Country is one of the most popular tourist areas in the southern United States..In Hill Country you'll find a couple dozen state parks where you'll find rivers and lakes to swim and fish in..San Marcos with its Aquarena springs.

FREDERICKSBURG Fredericksburg was settled by German immigrants, led by John Meusebach, in About 7 miles east of Fredericksburg, on U.S. 290, you'll find America's largest wildflower farm. Many of the buildings in Fredericksburg reflect traditional German styles. Even the McDonalds has a German look to it.
