GREAT LAKES HEALTH FAIR Mission It is the mission of Great Lakes Health Fair to provide individuals seeking medical services with low-cost or free health and educational screenings to help initiate and foster greater responsibility towards personal health awareness. Philosophy Great Lakes Health Fair founders believe that it is the right to all people within the community to have access to affordable healthcare including general health and specialties. Individuals also deserve to receive quality care from licensed professionals no matter their current health status or socioeconomic position.

NEED FOR A MICHIGAN HEALTH FAIR Barriers to healthcare in the community Cost Health insurance Transportation Availability of health services Knowledge deficits GLHF can overcome these barriers by providing local services at low to no cost, while educating the community and promoting healthy-living.
