SAMR AND THE COFFEE ANALOGY

SAMR EXAMPLE

IMPLEMENTATION OF SAMR AND TEACHING ABOVE THE LINE Reflect on your own teaching. How you have incorporated the SAMR model levels into your teaching? Substitution Augmentation Modification Redefinition Share teaching ideas you have tried with those sitting around you.

PRE-INSTALLED APPS Audioboom HMH Readers What have you tried in your classroom?

GALLERY WALK Directions: Form a group of 4-5 teachers Find a chart paper that is open Write as many ideas on the chart paper that you can brainstorm with your group - keep SAMR in mind. Have your group rotate clockwise when you hear the signal. Repeat the process until you have recorded thoughts on every chart. NOTE : These ideas will be collapsed and sent out using your grade level group. (i.e. _Kindergarten Teachers)

THANK YOU FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND IDEAS FOR IMPLEMENTING THE DISTRICT IPAD APPS!
