Monosodium glutamate is a common food additive for general information. Monosodium is also known as sodium(salt). MSG is a preservative it lets potato chips in a bag for months. MSG is made of water, sodium and glutamate. Glutamate is an amino and that is used to make protein. MSG is not a health hazard. Some people have a sensitivity to MSG. Glutamate can cause symptoms such as, blurred vision, chills and shakes, headache, increased heartbeat, nausea, vomiting and pain in your neck back or chest, these can occur about minutes after eating MSG.
Communication from technology was really different. People used to mail letters to each other. Over the past 2 decades technology has transformed communication by having it more and more pervasive. Advances in computers and telephones have created an explosion in the ways we can reach each other.
In 1999 CD’s used to cost $14. Now they have illegal download sites like Napster, witch made music available for free. That same year CD sales went down. New technology has also brought in a whole bunch of TV channels and programs, video game systems like Wii and X-Box. You can also play games on your cell phone anywhere. It has changed TV by getting easy, convenient access to an enormous variety of entertainment. You can get movies by renting them for $1 from RedBox, witch is in grocery stores. You can also stream movies or TV shows through there TV using Netflix or Apple TV.
Before the computer everyone used to read books, talk on the telephone with a cord or via mail or talk to someone in person. The first computers were made for a simple task, moving pebbles. Nowadays they have made computers more efficient, teachers say that they are good for learning. Computers are revolutionary. Most of peoples lives are spent on the computer for at least 2 hours a day. Cell phones are also computers. Computers are still advancing. The language has a changed, there are new words, no one would understand any of the new words if they weren't all over the internet.
Cell phones were invented not that long ago. If you are over 25 you could probably remember what life was like before cell phones were invented. As technology advanced cell phones became more affordable, and nowadays pretty much everyone has a cell phone. Every one uses it more frequently then their old landline phones. The major change that cell phones brought into our world is that you can contact almost everyone you know at any time you want. Cell phones help organize everything much easier. Now you can changed plans with a friend by texting them instead of having to leave a voice message and it not getting to them in time. Cell phones have influenced people, especially teenagers to use texting language like, LOL, OMG, YOLO and more. Cell phones also have things called apps, some apps you can play games on, some apps are for texting and some are for watching tv and movies and there are also apps for listening to music.
The tow truck was invented in 1916 by Ernest Holmes. Ernest Holmes was inspired after he was forested to pull a car out of the creek using blocks, ropes plus 6 men. Wreckers can only be used for recovery's and flat decks can be used to tow anything. There is long and thick cables to pull a vehicle out of ditches, rivers, lakes, forests and up muddy hills. Flat decks can tow multiple trucks/cars on a flat bed because it also has the stinger with L bars underneath the truck. Tow trucks are used for, transportation of vehicles to repair garage or impound. Often towed because of breakdowns, accidents, and impounded by law enforcers because of legal activity's
Technology is taking over our world. Soon instead of having text books and writing on paper we will be doing our math and other subjects on tablets. At work people will be working on computers instead of actually doing physical stuff it will all be powered by computers. Technology is really changing our world, soon practically everyone will have a tablet to work on.
