PEAK FOR THE WEEK COMMENCING 2 nd October 2011 (WEEK 40) PUT’s saw an increase of 6% across AP5+, however all other key trading demographics saw declines YOY. For AP PUT’s declined by 9%, AP down 3% and AP were flat. All nights experienced PUT growth except Friday. Saturday night recorded the highest lift of 19%, followed by Sunday night with a 10% lift. TV ONE HIGHLIGHTS AP This week TV ONE’s audience fell back 5%, delivering a 7.3 rating and 18.7% share. From a yearly perspective both audiences and share were down 12%. Tuesday and Wednesday night saw the highest weekly lift of 10% with most peak programmes performing better WOW. Yearly, Wednesday night experienced a 25% lift. Year to date, TV ONE’s average audiences are up year on year sitting at 9.0, compared to 8.8 in Two shows were in the top 10 programmes this week. TV2 HIGHLIGHTS AP A good week for TV2 as audiences increased 6% (to 9.1) and share increased 3% (from 26.3% to 27.2%). Year on year, both share and audiences declined (5% and 3% respectively). Monday and Thursday night experienced a 28% audience lift weekly with The Amazing Race and The Mentalist improving WOW as well as Thursday night’s peak line up improving. Friday night saw a 25% lift yearly. Year to date, TV2’s average audiences are sitting at 9.5 compared to 10.2 last year. Nine of the top 10 programmes were on TV2 this week.
