Clerical Training Enrolling Students in Campus Independent School District Highway 10 Elk River, MN 55330

Creating Student Enrollments - Considerations Send copies of all registrations to Annette via interoffice mail. All active student enrollments have been rolled from the calendar to the calendar. Create enrollments for: students new to the district that are Elk River Area School District residents students transferring to your school from another school in the district students new to the district that are not residents of our district Open Enrollment/Non Resident forms need to be completed If you receive a registration for a student that already has an enrollment record (homeschool, private school, out of district school), please notify Lisa via so the duplicate enrollment can be removed.

Removing Student Enrollments - Considerations If entering an enrollment and another enrollment exists, be sure to contact Lisa Jungles via to delete the duplicate enrollment

Removing Student Enrollments - Considerations Remove enrollments for any students from your school that are moving out of our school district. Remove the enrollment in Campus and include comments in the End Comments field of the enrollment if you know where the student is going. Notify Census (Annette) – use Census Change Forms available in Campus. Notify Vision Transportation Remove enrollments for students moving to a new attendance area within our school district, AND notify the new In-District school, as well as Vision Transportation of the move. If the student is planning to remain at your school rather than attend the school in their new attendance area, have the family fill out the Intra-District form. NOTE: Enrollments should not be deleted if the student has attended school during any part of the the school year -- all attendance, grades, etc. are tied to the student’s enrollment.

Enrolling Students in Campus Adding a New Enrollment 1. Navigate to the student’s Enrollment tab. 2. Click the New icon. The General Enrollment Information section will appear. 3. Enter the student’s Calendar, or the school where the student needs to be enrolled. 4. Enter the Grade level of the student. 5. Enter the Start Date of the enrollment. 6. Enter the Start Status of the enrollment from the drop-down list. 7. Enter any starting comments in the Start Comments field. 8. Click the Save icon when finished. The new enrollment will be listed in the Enrollment Editor area. This General Enrollment Information is the only section that needs to be completed for entering a new enrollment for a student. However, the State Reporting Fields and Special Ed Fields should be completed if applicable.

Enrolling Students in Campus Ending Enrollments 1. Select the enrollment that should be ended from the Enrollment Editor. Locate the General Enrollment Information section. 2. Enter an End Date for the enrollment by typing in mmddyy format or by clicking the calendar icon to select a date. 3. Enter an End Status for the enrollment. 4. Enter any comments regarding this enrollment in the End Comments text field. 5. Click the Save icon when finished.

Enrolling Students in Campus Deleting an Enrollment Record 1.Select the enrollment that is to be deleted. 2.Click the Delete icon at the top of the enrollment tab. A warning message will appear, alerting the user that the enrollment is about to be deleted. If this is the correct action to take, click OK. The enrollment will then be deleted, removing all records of that student’s existence in that calendar. Enrollments should not be deleted if the student has attended school for any amount of time during the school year.
