Henry Hudson was a sailor from Holland. He wanted to search and find a Northern sea route to Asia.

In 1609, a Dutch company hired henry Hudson and a sea captain and were ready to set sail.

Henry Hudson explored a river which is now know and called the Hudson river.

Hudson wanted to make it to china but instead of that he made it to what we now call the united states.

In spring Hudson and his crew got to sail and his son and crew left and henry Hudson was never heard of again.
