2 Action for Children is National charity that supports the most vulnerable children and young people and we’ve been delivering services in Scotland for 60 years. With 84 services across Scotland, we are at the heart of local communities. We provide services to support: Looked after and accommodated children and young people Young carers Families at risk Children affected by parental drug and alcohol misuse Young people with disabilities Young people who offend or at risk of offending We take action for children… © Action for Children 2015

3 Close relationships – we work closely with people, building trust, understanding and mutual respect to get the job done and deal with their real needs. Practical solutions – we have a hands-on approach, where staff have the knowledge and skills to provide support to address problems. Innovation – we work hard to delver innovative services that include young people and give them hope for their future. 4 Transitions Works with care experienced young people on an outreach basis and provides intensive support to access, secure and sustain to appropriate employment or training opportunities.
