William is a special little boy. But his nanny Mrs. Phillips is leaving to go to England. She gives him a castle and William finds a silver knight but SURPRISE! the silver knight comes to life his name is Sir Simon. Sir Simon tells him about his castle and how he came alive.William learned that Alastor’s spell turned him to lead. Sir Simon showed William the token that turned things small. Then William got an idea.

William was going to shrink Mrs. Phillips so she could stay with him for ever. But it turns out Mrs. Phillips wont talk to him unless he turns her back. So William had to shrink to go on an adventure to get the lead token to put them together to make a growing token. Along the way the Sir Simon gets lost and turned back to lead. William makes it threw by himself and battles a dragon he makes in to Alastor’s castle as a fool

ABOUT THE NEXT BOOK When William turns twelve, he wonders if Jason is still his best friend. In the past year, Jason has grown a foot while William is still a shrimp. When Jason challenges William to “jump the trains,” William is terrified. How else can he prove himself to Jason? William has the chance when Mrs. Phillips sends him the magic token that can once again transport him back to Sir Simon’s castle in the Middle ages, this time with Jason. There they must face a dangerous army of rats and their gigantic leader. Once William was a hero in the castle. Now it’s up to him to destroy the rats and save the kingdom in the final battle for the castle.
