Moving from print journals to electronic journals The Portsmouth Hospitals experience Pauline Blagden

2009 We went e-! We purchased 43 e-journal subscriptions from Ovid and Elsevier We subscribed to MD Consult We retained 26 print subscriptions

Why? New library – possibly having to merge stocks of 2 libraries Concerns about cost of journals and levels of use Popularity of other e-resources Technologically increasingly feasible
