Motivation Motivation: the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that stimulate people in to taking actions that lead to achieving a goal. Intrinsic motivation: internal satisfaction you get from achieving a goal. Extrinsic motivation: external rewards given to you for completing a task.

Indicators of Poor Motivation -Absenteeism -Lateness -Poor performance -Accidents -High labour turnover -Grievances -Customer complaints
