EVE Eve - ‘mother of all’ She came into the world perfectly at peace with her God and with her husband, the only other person on the planet. She lived in Paradise, possessing every pleasure imaginable. She never knew the meaning of embarrassment, misunderstanding, hurt, estrangement, envy, bitterness, grief, or guilt until she listened to her enemy and began to doubt God. Eve was a first of many  The 1 st woman and 1 st wife to Adam (Gen 2:23)  The 1 st human to fall into temptation (Gen 3:4-5)  The first person to bare blame (Gen 3:12)  The 1 st woman to give birth (Gen 4:1) Eve however emerges as a conqueror, although faced with many downfalls the Lord promises to her name generations. (Gen 3:16) Whatever situation we maybe in the Lord is our redeemer his Grace and Mercy is with us. -But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.— Romans 5:20 – 21
