AR Produce practical strategic and tactical guidance document on how to converge disparate systems to a higher degree of collaboration and interoperability under GEOSS including its roadmap and using existing efforts wherever possible. Current Status Although the task AR has not been formally initiated as of June 23, 2006, the WMO input has been received and the task sheet has been updated. Draft Preparation WMO, Japan

A plan of Agriculture Topic A system of Systems alignment with FAO In-situ observation Satellite observation Integration Data Model Socio- economic Land cover mapping of 1:500,000 Use of geo sat data in food insecure region Land cover mapping for 1:250,000 Initiate work to enable Statistics to a pixel level Establish role of sat data in agriculture Continuity of high-resolution imagery Operational linkage of environmental information data to statitics in pixel base Socio-economic data converted to pixel a results of “a system of systems” Land cover mapping of 1:1,000,000 A map of irrigated agriculture area Fine grid data of monitoring of weather (precipitation and so on) In-Situ observation Network Modeling Based map development system for integrating many kind of information on pixel level Establish of fine grid data of weather (precipitation and so on) Meso-scale model for seasonally, monthly, weekly predicting for precipitation, air temperature and so on) Soil and terrain database of 1:1,000,000 Land use mapping for 1:500,000 INWEPF Field observation and investigation of crop growth and production database of irrigated agriculture area, water availability, land degradation, forest conversion) On-time monitoring and information systems for significant events (drought, flood and so on) Development of early warning systems for drought, flood and so on IRRI, FACE
