The house mouse can live in tussock, pasture, walls, roofs, and inside the floor!!!

The house mouse can eat: crops, meat, dairy products, and dried foods also shoe polish!! They also eat their own droppings to acquire nutrients made by the bacteria in their stomachs. They will drink some water but not to much.

Because they eat your food and make holes in your floors, walls, roofs, and cupboards.

A house mouse looks like a brown furry ball with little black beady eyes. They also have very sharp teeth and little claws.

The house mouse was introduced to New Zealand

Mice were introduced to NZ because they stowed away on the sealing ships that came to New Zealand!!!!

Mice were introduced from Europe!!!!!!

Adult mice have a body length of between cm from nose tip to the base of their tail. Their tail is between 5-10 cm. They can jump up to 45cm high. They use their tail for balance Mice stand on their hind legs and use their tail for balance when eating and fighting. They are most active at dusk and night time.
