The Church in Pakistan A ghetto community Christians in Pakistan constitute around 3 % of a total population of 180 million. The Church has a history of service to the community in the field of health and education services, which is well recognized. However the various challenges that the country faces generally and the Church in particular has affected its role as ‘Salt and Light’. The economic and social pressures faced by the Christian community, has disoriented them making them an isolated group of people who disregard the essence of Christian faith to ‘love thy neighbor’
